I hope that you keep your blog going. You provide a forum that discusses issues in ways that others don't.
To those who wish to criticize Myron for his beliefs: Think about what you're saying here. Our government is based on that fundamental right of citizenship to freely state your opinion. You are as well, free to disagree. Myron poses opinions that generate debate on issues that too many politicians have been riding to election day for many, many cycles. The debate may well be uncomfortable to some but it must happen if we are to find solutions and understanding. I am not uncomfortable in the least by having my name as a contributing writer to Myron's site. I chose to stop being a blogger quite by myself. I am a big boy. I simply don't choose to participate any more. And anti-farmer, I do so look forward to when you have the fortitude to introduce yourself to me one day. Then we shall see who is milque toast. But bottom line here is that I consider Myron and Megan to be very good and valued friends and Dianne and I are fortunate to so blessed. Myron is sincere in his beliefs and acts accordingly. He contributes much to our community in ways that most of you are not aware of, simply because he's not doing it to get recognition, but because he believes it's the right thing to do. He also understands how to push your buttons on a slow day, and does it quite well.
I have also been freeing up my time from other prior commitments beyond blogging because I do indeed have a life. Dianne and I celebrate our 21st anniversary tomorrow. (June 29) Almost half of our married life has been devoted to community service. That's all my daughters know. It is time for me to give them something back, and simply be a husband and dad. Also, There is a very important campaign this fall, and several important campaigns next fall, and an exceedingly important campaign in 2008. I've got work to do and I know that I can count on Republitarian and Jim Bacon and Not Larry and Elephant Ears and Commonwealth Iconoclast and Waldo and Deb Stevens-Fitzgerald (She'll kick all your butts on economics) and Anti-Farmer and Misanthrope and, and, and, all of you bloggers to keep this end of things going. I must attend to other business.
